Female Incontinence and the Jade Egg Exercises

Jade egg excercises

The Jade Egg exercises can be a treasure in aiding female incontinence.

There are many reasons why a woman loses the ability to hold fluids in her bladder. Pregnancy, birth, and age are at the top of the list.

When women lose touch with the PC muscle (Pubococcygeus Muscle) or overstretch, it can cause involuntary leakage. Young or old, this causes embarrassment, effects sex and is often a woman’s most repressed secret.  Incontinence is usually the result of a treatable condition but we must address the issue openly in order to determine the proper course of action to remedy the situation.

The Jade Egg is used in Kegel exercises.

In Natural Medicine we have taken the doctor’s number one remedy for loose muscles in the sexual organ region, Kegel exercises, and added a powerful element – weight.  For so many women, simply exercising the muscles that support the bladder stop involuntary leakage.  Beyond this, women who have strong vaginal muscles also experience greater sexual pleasure, make more lubrication and enjoy greater reproductive organ health.

Transvaginal Mesh

Your Sexual Health and Transvaginal Mesh

by Linda Grayling

When sexual dysfunction occurs, the problem can be mental or emotional—but sometimes, the problem is physical. Pelvic floor disorders such as stress urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse affect nearly half of all women and can interfere with normal sexual function.

Unfortunately, surgical treatment of these conditions has the potential to worsen these problems—sometimes making sex impossible.

What is Transvaginal Mesh?

The use of surgical mesh in hernia repairs demonstrated minimal risk of complications, so in 1996 the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) first approved the use of mesh in urogynecologic surgeries, implanted through the vagina.

Transvaginal mesh can be implanted to support the bladder to improve continence, or implanted as a hammock-like support system for prolapsed pelvic organs. Starting with a FDA-issued Public Health Notification in 2008, the FDA recognized the serious complications associated with transvaginal mesh and has since determined that these complications are not rare.

Women considering surgery to correct pelvic floor disorders should exhaust alternative therapy options like physical therapy, diet and exercise. If surgery is needed, women should ask their doctor about surgical options that do not use transvaginal mesh.

Mesh Complications

The most common complication with transvaginal mesh is erosion into the vagina. Erosion can require multiple surgeries to repair, substantially decreasing quality of life. And because mesh grows into and around bodily tissues, it cannot always be removed.

The mesh also can perforate nearby organs, which is incredibly painful. When the vaginal wall is perforated, sex can be excruciating or impossible.

Mesh shrinkage is another common complication, which results in vaginal pain due to vaginal tightening and shortening. Both shrinkage and erosion are extremely painful conditions, and pelvic pain does not exactly encourage a healthy sexual appetite.

Other problems include frequent infections, which restricts sexual activities. Mesh can cause irregular bleeding, abnormal discharge and vaginal odors—all making women less likely to be interested in sex.

All of these physical complications can manifest in emotional distress, even depression. The loss of sexual desire, satisfaction or ability can be devastating for an individual and also instill the fear of losing—or actual loss of— a partner. Depression is known to reduce libido, and so the cycle of sexual dysfunction continues.

Teaching Chi Kung in France to women shows me that we are all the same and yet quite different.

The culture is different.  For example, it is considered rude in France to openly ask a woman if she is happy with her romantic relationship.  In America, this would not be strange in many settings.

Once a French woman is speaking openly on the subject however, we clearly hear a passionate desire to love and be loved.  This Universal urge toward deep connection to those we adore spans the globe and must be satisfied.  When we listen with our heart, we see that women are united.

Understanding Chi Nei Tsang and Our Two Brains

Understanding Chi Nei Tsang and Our Two Brains

Chi Nei Tsang WomenSince the beginning of time we have agreed that women are intuitive – some have been so intuitive they were historically thought to be magic.  These women followed their “gut”. This gut feeling, or intuition, is a gift all women have access to.  The key is understanding the messages this brain delivers.

Today, we understand that the body has two brains, 1) The brain in our head, and 2) The digestive system.

The brain in our belly plays a big role in our health, happiness and emotional balance. In our gut we have neurotransmitters like dopamine, norepinephrine, nitric oxide, and serotonin.  Our gut also has neuropeptides.  Neuropeptides are molecules used by neurons to communicate with each other. They signal molecules and influence the activity of the brain.  They are involved in brain functions like food intake, learning and memory.

I could speak about the physical likeness of these two brains for many pages.  What I want to share with ladies is the importance of keeping this second brain healthy and 100% functional.  As women, when this brain is clean and healthy you are more free to hear and understand its messages and thus have the opportunity to comprehend situations from a clearer and more balanced perspective.  When this brain is sick, inflamed or stuck, the perception of the world will be tainted negatively.

Do you understand what that means? If a woman chooses to focus on her physical health through detoxifying and energizing her digestive system, she automatically improves her mental health and grows her intuitive abilities!

Chi Nei Tsang Detoxifies the Second Brain

Chi Nei Tsang abdominal detoxifying/energizing massage is very popular in France now. The reason for this is that it works, and any adult or teen can learn to do it for themselves. Once learned, most people can be taught to share with a child or friend.  Friends learn to work with each other, medical visits become less frequent  and self awareness grows.

Women and Chi Nei Tsang

Women have special reasons for needing this knowledge because their reproductive organs are in close proximity to the digestive system. Toxic gasses and sickness in the intestines can be very dangerous to a woman for this reason.

Chi Nei Tsang for Women’s Health

Chi Nei Tsang for Women’s Health

chi nei tsang women's healthChi Nei Tsang abdominal massage is being offered as an exotic beauty treatment at health spa’s across the world because it works. The results of a treatment range from improved energy and peace of mind to weight loss and pain relief.  Women who take four or five treatments report improved digestion, sleep and reproductive health, to name a few.

As we return to natural health, our desire for emotional balance and physical radiance are our new priority.  Nature has given us ways to detoxify, energize and support our internal organs and reproductive system.  All we must do is learn these simple secrets to experience the same benefit at home; for free.

Chi Nei Tsang is natural medicine we can use at home

When a child has a belly ache, what do they do?  They rub their belly! As women, we can use these massage techniques to keep our body lower in toxicity and prevent many illnesses – and we can share these techniques with those we love. Think about it, your uterus and bladder share space with your intestines.  If your intestines are coated or filled with rotting material, don’t you think this could have a negative effect on your other organs?  Is it possible that your liver and kidneys are working extra hard to keep your system clean?  Could this lower your energy and open you to illness?
It is time to take back our personal power and heal ourselves.  Once we have balanced ourselves with Chi Nei Tsang, we may live in a new reality where we maintain this healthy life so we may share our love and energy freely.

Importance of Female Sexual Health

Female Sexual Health: A Sacred Energy

female sexual health Sarina StoneThe importance of female sexual health has become a common and often talked about issue around the world. We are no longer in the dark about the importance of this most sacred energy our female body produces and the role it plays in our physical, mental, and spiritual well being. It is a new time for women; a time for open communication and sharing about female sexual health.

Female Sexual Health: A Healing Energy

In my earliest memories of studying with Master Chia, I recall him teaching that when enough of us transform our negative emotional state, the world will spontaneously transform its own negative energy and become a more beautiful place. In the years since I was taught this, I have seen rooms filled with women performing the healthy, healing exercises and have witnessed the gentle power of healthy Yin Chi. I have seen women laugh and dance and fill a room with their essence. I have seen repressed women smile to their body and transform their negative views of themselves.

And when this joy spreads from their smiling eyes, indeed, the room is transformed to a celebratory space filled with compassion and strength of femininity. What healthy person could resist this grace?

Female Sexual Health: A Powerful Energy

Feminine strength does not push or control, rather it’s power comes from compassionate wisdom and offers a perfect compliment to its Yang, masculine counter part. Without Yin, or water, the Yang, or Fire, burns too hot and eventually extinguishes itself. Yes ladies, there is strength and beauty in being women. We are needed, and in turn, need a healthy connection to that which is our opposite to be truly balanced. No woman is an island, rather she is the water surrounding the island that permeates and nourishes all life. Together, let us endeavor to keep our female sexual health clean and vital.
